Sales are down, but it's not that different than 2011? R&B sales were the pits in 2011 too, but "4" still managed to do well. And she can easily get radio support again. This is Beyonce, the most played artist on radio, the last decade. She needs to hit up some big radio stations and Columbia needs to push the songs more on radio, cuz I don't think they did a good job last era. Like I said, Bey will be fine.

Hopefully will get the best of both world's..great music & great sells.

Exactly. But I predicted 4's first week sales correctly last time.

But seriously I did. I remember working out in my mind "100K in presales, 100K because of promo and flopping singles. 100K because of her star power. Total 300K and Boom well over 313K.

The moral to the story is: she'll do fine.

What lesson? Beyonce is no longer a pop star. She's taking a completely different route, and '4' was just the intro.

There won't be anything radio friendy, especially not pop friendly. Those expecting over 300k first week sales are clearly delusional. 300k will probably be album total, which will be amazing for such a risky album marketed by small indie label.

That's really low, 4 was the lowest she had ever done and it was because of the chart performance. Next time, it wont be like that....

Does anyone remember that her entire album leaked an entire month before? If that Bey Vault is closed this time, I have no doubt she will reack 400K her first week. She should also open the album for pre-order the week of either the first single or the day of the Superbowl. I see massive sales.
