ATP! really stans HARD for her. Artist of the month, hiring her, and now reviewing her Voice compilation

ATP! Album Review: Cassadee Pope - The Complete Season 3 Collection
Chances are if you know Cassadee Pope, you know all about her win on NBC’s “The Voice,” but if you’re completely new to the singer then this compilation is for you. Pope’s fans will most undoubtedly already own all the songs, having bought them as singles to vote for their idol, so this release has nothing for them.
That, however, should not detract from the obvious growth Pope has made in her singing career. Compared with her vocals in Hey Monday and even her solo work, it is very apparent that the reality show did nothing but good for her. This compilation showcases some of her best performances, though there are admittedly some songs that can be skipped. 'Steve McQueen', her duet with Blake Shelton, being one of them. The girl has pipes built for soaring notes - see 'Over You' and 'Cry' for reference - and the Sheryl Crow hit shows just how far she came from her audition song. (The first track, 'Torn', for those who don’t know.)
Ultimately, "The Complete Season 3 Collection" of Pope’s performances is the perfect primer for new fans, introducing her as the singer she has grown to become thanks to the help of Shelton and “The Voice.” It may not bring anything new for her fans but it certainly shows that we can expect big things in 2013. Now all we need to do is wait.
