Heck, they could discount her entire discography in efforts to boost sales across the board. If they release the album that soon, her team are trying to just rid themselves of their obligated contract with RCA. I just hope they don't rush it like they did for Femme Fatale because Jive knew they were folding and had all their artists rush out albums to milk them one last time.

I completely agree, i swear you should work for Britney and be her PR agent and the one that controls promotion!!!
I doubt the album will be out in Spring anyway, it's too soon, we just started getting news of producers and writers some weeks ago FF 2.0 can't happen

What do you think of the Vegas residency speculation? Would you be here for it?

I can dig it, so long as it's a once a week type of thing. Her performing every day is a little overkill though, in my opinion. I just will like to see Britney and her management commit to a promo tour like they did for Circus, only make it a little more extensive. They did a fabulous job with the era from September - December then left things alone once it was time to prep for the tour.
I'm fine with her announcing her world tours on the same day of the album release, but let her travel with a promo tour in efforts of promoting not only her album and singles, but upcoming tour as well.
Hopefully, we'll see an Asian and Latin America leg with the next tour. Brit needs to re-establish her far east Asian fan base, maybe even go to South Africa and the Middle East as well. It's getting harder for her to travel with the boys getting as old as they are. I'm sure they have school to attend (September - May) and Britney would like them to probably be around other kids in a real school setting instead of tutors while on the road. You just know, Brit wants them to have some form of "normalcy" around their lives.

Is it wrong of me to believe that Britney is really going to get back to really putting work in, in terms of promo etc, this era?
I have a gut feeling it will be a huge comeback type thing for her.

I'm so here for Britney doing Vegas shows, just like legends Céline, Shania and Faith the latter is performing just on weekends till April, Brit could book something like this too
YES at the promo tour, the Circus era was great with the WW promo till the album release! I can't believe she did no promo outside the US for the FF era beside those ****** interviews for press people while she was in the UK
And also another great point she needs to tour heavily Asia, esp Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore etc!

I'm actually secretly praising Britney that she cheated with Wade instead of staying faithful to that inglorious **** for a boyfriend.

I know, right? I was on my way back from my road trip and I heard it talked about on the radio twice.

It literally is the perfect time to release an album and single. Last time Britney did it was with Gimme More and Blackout. GM was released like in late August and the album in late October. It probably would've been released in early November, but Jive had to move the date up due to leaks.

I need to ask a favor, for now on, any OFFICIAL CHART NEWS OR UPDATES...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE....add them to the receipts thread. Some time later this month, I'll be updating the front page to get ready for the next era.
Also, for me to make sure I have all the up to date info for Scream & Shout, post it there where I can see it. Charting news gets lost sometimes in the base with the posts.
