“Like I Love You” was bigger than anything she released in 2001/2002 so he didn’t need any help.
It was a highly publicized relationship and everyone wanted to know stuff. You’re acting as if she was any better when she wasn’t because she milked it for publicity, after calling him out for talking about their relationship just once, claming she would never do that. Then came her hypocritical interviews with W, New York Times, Rolling Stone, Esquire, Diane Sawyer, etc. She also said she slept with him before he did and there was nothing wrong with that either.
He was there as well though.
And I don't mean literally.
I swear. You're probably just covering him to make him look good.
