True, but just anecdotally I feel like a lot of gays have even left her. I'd agree that the public is more fickle, but Cyndi Lauper and Kylie were also a gay icons and they're not nearly as big as Madonna and Cher (who have larger, more ubiquitous support).

Madonnas fanbase, the people spending hundreds of dollars to see her, are the people who look back and remember everything she did for them and their generation.

That's good for them, but those are the kind of gays that supported Cyndi Lauper. Madonna also had the critical and commercial success consistently over the majority of her career. That supplement secured her status.

Cyndi is an icon but just less successful she's still known be it for one song or two. Kylie is international the u.s doesn't use her much but she still does great on her tours and had a big gay following. I think you guys exaggerate how much gaga has really fallen when in reality she's only in the beginning of her career. Give it time. Rihanna has had her slope too.

I don't think Gaga has fallen as hard as people make it out to be, but it's more a concern for the future than anything else. I still think she has the ability to come back hard. Only time will tell.

That's true too. She could end up being non existent in a couple years. Nothing is impossible. I have faith in her though. Hopefully we get bops and a lot of casual fans back too!
