Let's face it though, we're gonna see payola to the PITS. Interscope ain't gon play. She'll get it.
Madonna stopped being cool 20 years ago and look where she is today.
Being cool is nothing, being cool means you're just a fad who will disappear once you're no longer cool. Gaga has the fanbase and that's what she needs. A dedicated, gay fanbase that will still be there in 20 years. Interscope and Gaga knew what they were doing when they were shaping her career. They didn't want Gaga to be another flash in the pan, they wanted her to become a legend, and that's what she's becoming.
You need more than a dedicated fanbase though, and the gays are too fickle to assume they'll be there in 20 years. Without the support of the GP/radio her career will diminish further.
