A true queen doesn't have to shade. This type of shade is vapid, immature behavior that only showcases you have a problem with someone. For example, Lady Gaga is a true queen because for all the jabs other artists (Madonna, Christina, Katy) have made towards her, she simply smiles in their faces and lets it go; she doesn't feel the need to respond. Why? Because if you think you're the best and you know you're the best, responding to ~pressed~ people of a lower tier is unnecessary. (I'm not saying Madonna, Christina and Katy are lower tiers, I'm just giving an example.)

She has a right to be grossly pretentious and arrogant. Isn't Nicki the same way after only releasing two albums?
Mariah is not malicious with her shade most of the time.
Lady GaGa is not the best example. I don't think you are wrong but Mariah means no harm usually. She's not a outright bitch like Madonna and Xtina.

She has the right, but psychology tells us that in most cases people who display this kind of behavior and have delusions of grandeur do so to cover up/suppress something deep inside of them — it could be something that happened in their childhood or a traumatic experience, but typically it's simply their own unhappiness and unsatisfied feelings with themselves, i.e. insecurity. I just think it's funny how people here praise Mariah as a queen for being able to shade Nicki and other people and not understand how weak and flustered she's really showing herself to be.

So doesn't have the right. It doesn't matter how many copies Mariah has sold, nobody has the right to be arrogant and pretentious.

And how can you act like what Mariah does is any different than what Madonna or Christina may have done? Mariah has definitely had malicious shade. And Madonna and Christina have said things that don't mean any harm too.

Because you're a fan of Mariah's, you might find what she says about other people to be funny and harmless, just like fans of Christina and Madonna would act if their idol said something.

So t let's not pretend that she's so dramatically different from that.
