A new gen's pretty much out of the question. It hasn't even been a year since Black 2 came out in Japan; it's barely been 6 months. They usually have larger gaps, especially as of recently. The gap between R/S and Diamond/Pearl was looong, as was D/P and B/W. We probably have a good two years at the least before they come out.
