My favorite is critics who applaud Taylor for ditching her country "disguise" and making the full-on pop music she was "born to make" because country is uncool and it's necessary for critics to have a condescending approach towards country music. While, at the same time, there are other lesser critics lamenting Taylor for selling out and making pop music when she has to make country music in order to "stay herself."

yea my favorite is when they say that Taylor is full on pop music with Begin Again, and songs like JA take a little ride and carries blown away are considered country.... what the hell!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
The double standard has never been sooo clear!!!!! Hell, I can sing "whistle" in a country accent and it will be considered country, but if i sing the lyrics in a story telling, straight from the heart song, without a country accent it's considered pop********!!!!!!!!!!
