If you're talking about TOTGA/POM/WA, it's normal when you release a sixth single, and after that a re-release...  Now that she's taking a little break, her sales will be higher with the next Era

TOTGA, WA and POM were SMASH HITS. They all hit #1, whether it was on RADIO, POP or DIGITAL CHARTS, they all smashed.
and even her lowest selling songs from TD (6th, 7th, 8th Single) have outsold lead singles by the likes of Britney, Beyonce, Ke$ha ect.) latest efforts 
so yeah, the shade wasn't necessary darling.

May should be good enough. Her main competition is Bey, Gaga, and Rihanna. It looks like Rihanna won't get another big hit this era imo. Katy already has an advantage over Gaga and Bey with Wide Awake having 50m+ AI right now.
