It also literally mangles the name as well. Legend X doesn't take anything from her name, since she is considered "X" and "Xtina" to her peers.
As long as you aren't using a religious figure - (Patron Saint) Madonna, (God)ga, Rih(Allah) you are assumably safe. I'm guessing the reasoning behind this falls within the "offensive to some members" group.

Tnx for the clarification! Not saying I'm agreeing with it, but won't go into that discussion because it wouldn't end well :P Would something like Gagz or Lady G be allowed then? It's what Monsters call her all the time

Speaking of, is "Cher Lord" an acceptable nickname for Cher Lloyd? The "Cher" is left intact, and no mangling of names has taken place.

OK. Thanks.

I can understand not allowing something like Rihtard as they show in the examples, but what's the difference between Godga, Legend X, Princess Ri? I don't get it, where do they draw the line?
Can you please specify for me what is allowed and what is not?

Well, just don't mix "God" and "Ga", she's not a God and don't modify her name. You can always use them in SYG.

Nope, you're mangling her surname (Lloyd).

I was asking for the opinion of a Moderator, thanks.
And it's not a mangling of a surname. It's just a reference to Cher as a Lord. Cher Lord.

But her name is "Cher Lloyd", not Cher. You can freely reference the Goddess Cher as a Lord, but not Cher Lloyd.

How is Cher not her name? It's her first name. That's like you not being called "Jack".
Again, I will wait for a Moderator to address this issue.

I expressed my dissatisfaction regarding unfair and biased ban from SYG yesterday, but it looks like I haven't got any respond from mods. I have been banned from here since like the beginning of 2012 due 'too cruel comment' and I still am. While many people on this site write even more abusive comments about members, wish death for children and break other rules, but they are not banned.

Lord Cher is fine, Cher Lord isn't. It's obvious that Lloyd is very similar to Lord and that you try to use that to your advantage.

I shall use Lord Cher Lloyd (L.C.L) in future, thanks for the clear-up.

There has still been no explanation as to why only a single
Christian deity is the only exception to this rule. It is still invalid.

Maybe send a help request, pm a mod/admin, or email the admin. Sometimes mods aren't on or miss some posts here.

Nicknames of any sorts should be banned tbh. So tacky seeing those "I Knew You Were God", "Lord too well" and other sorts of mingling with song and album names. Either that, or allow artist nicknames too.

Legend X is not mangled cause it doesn't combine her name with another word. Legend is the title and X is her name.
Something like God Gaga would be okay but it's not catchy so no one uses it anyway.

Because he's generally referred to as "Jesus Christ", and it's the only two word name I can think of that can be used to turn an artist's name into a stan name.

You were banned from it, came back, and then banned again. The second time we usually make it permanent. And that doesn't mean a year or six months, it means forever. By eliminating problematic people we can keep the thread largely unmoderated.

But that is not fair, don't you think? People like Last Boy on Earth and many other ones break SYG rules even more often and never get banned from it. And isn't SYG meant for fights about artists? I definitely see that some mods are biased and most of them stan for Rihanna, which makes them not to look at the situation objective.

If people break SYG rules then they are removed from it. It's one thing to fight about artists, it's another to purposely say the most offensive things all the time just because you can. You're not dragging an artist when you say she should get cancer and slowly die from it.
But I see you've opened a help request, so the team will discuss your case.
