Honestly, I do consider them separate creatively, but not commercially. They were too close together and their release was inseparably bound by the two-disk edition.

I remember when Gaga was explaining TFM, she said that she didn't wanna leave The Fame yet and wanted to continue it. I thought it was shade for BTW cause she abandoned that album like no other

You know what, i wanna punch Gaga in the face right about now. she had a chance for her biggest selling album and she ****ed up. Had she released a more commercial album (not generic) instead of BTW, she could have seen Adele #'s (ok maybe not that high but ya know). I love BTW but it came to soon imo.

On the other hand, if she proves successful even after the BTW fiasco, it'll show she's more than just a pop girl.

BTW is the album that fits perfectly for when she's just getting ready to retire like Madonna and wanting to show the public a masterpiece album that's full of flawless and well produced songs that's capable of winning Grammy nods as appreciation for Gaga's wonderful career.

BTW could've been a grand exit to her career.
