Has anyone ever told you you're just a little too negative? "Salvaging whatever is left", really? I'd personally love to "salvage" what I can get after a $161 million incomplete tour, 7 million album sales, and over 25 million singles sales. If you'd left it simply at "never returning to its old heights" I might agree with you, but you took it to a bit of an extreme.

My point isn't that the BTW era isn't a decline, it's that you're making seem as if she pulled a Bionic and you're also simply ignoring the possibility of a better era this time round. Ray of Light, Circus, Loud, Cher's Believe, Fever, etc. did actually happen, you know.
