Yet again, my opinions differ from yours. That's just an extremely linear way of thinking. Everything is interrelated in one way or another. Languages, maths, sciences... etc. They're all what runs the system. Math wouldn't be there without language, and vice versa. So saying that one discipline rules others is wrong, in my opinion. Although I extremely respect what you value.

I agree with you too. And I respect your opinions too
Differing in opinions just shows how smart and how amazing a human brain works

Hmm, this is where I disagree with you; in a certain sense anyway. I do believe that post-secondary education is fine. Because not many are going to pursue higher education, only the ones who actually want to learn. There are of course different cases, but I'm speaking for the majority here.
However, I do believe that everything below that level of education is flawed.

A lot of people here drop classes when they don't feel like committing to the class lol.

I'm just glad people like you still exist. The fact that we can respect each other even though we may have different opinions.

Whilst college/university is much more difficult academically, the freedom it gives you and the enjoyment factor is so much greater.

The freedom in college is great though. You can leave the classroom at any time you want and do whatever you want anywhere

I'm a big fan of Quantum Physics, Metaphysics, String theories, etc... that's why.
I'm such a big fan of open possibilities.
That's of course until I starting talking about Ancient Aliens,

I ended up attending class on the fourth day and next thing you know I wasn't in the class anymore and they weren't adding me back. Not to worry though, after I retake my failed classes,I will be OUT of that school.

I'm pleased to see how well everyone is getting along in this thread tbh. My first hit thread.

I do agree with this. Just look at the statistics of high school dropout rates in America. It's sad, tbh.

yaaas, education is one of my favorite things to discuss, hit thread well deserved.
And I do agree with you, it is no longer a personal problem, but a public issue. I mean, the fact that the statistics are so high means that something IS wrong!

I kind of worded myself wrong and went a little extreme, i mean, i think there should be an alternative to education for those who arent as gifted, or for those who think "schooling isnt for me". And, i do think education is good in some ways, like its good for society (in some ways), but sometimes when im in college i just think "Okay. here i am, sat in a geography classroom learning about NICs. what is the point in this? what does this give me? how am i going to letter one letter on a piece of paper defy me as a person?" I dont know, in the end im just a teenager sick of school

Lol. I can't believe some of y'all actually had trouble fitting into high school. Teenagers, as I've come to find out, are extremely easy to please. Like, damn.

High School literally goes by like a blink and once you're out nothing about that place really matters. All the petty drama and social awkwardness really just leaves you.
Being in College, trying to find a job, the struggle to pursue a career you want, and committing academically is far tougher. The real world ain't no joke kids, it will kick your ass.

College. But it does depend on your major/program I guess. Art students for example probably find college easier b/c their classes aren't as challenging as Science/Engineering/Med/Pharm/Dent etc courses.

It was harder for me. My high school had a lot of college prep classes, and sent home weekly report cards, forced you to have parent teacher conferences if you dropped below a C and the added stress of being in a religious school with very judgemental students and teachers who tell me I'm living wrong and want to "fix me" or shun me for being different. In contrast with my college where I train to do something I have always loved doing and want to do for the rest of my life. My college professors are way more personal and care more about us than my high school teachers ever did. I get to manage my own schedule, do the work on my own time and don't have to report to my parents whenever I make any kind of mistake.
College has its cons, but all in all, I would go through college 10 times before I ever go back to my high school.
