Y'all acting like S&S is doing well because the video was premiered on the X-Factor, when it was the commercial being on heavy rotation that really pushed the song, the video just gave it a little push needed to get to #1 on Itunes.

Those shows don't really help careers. Look at Christina, J.Lo. Needless to say, she can perform/premiere videos anywhere she wants and not being a judge is going to give her more time to focus on promoting the album and singles, including international promo (which she won't be able to do if she is going to be a judge).

IMO I believe Britney would be way more comfortable performing in front of people she knows well (Demi, Simon) and a place she's at most night, than performing for a award show or something.

Well, she performed on X Factor UK in front of Simon when she didn't know him, Cheryl etc etc and seemed more comfortable than just sitting in a chair on this X Factor.

i haven't seen anybody in here say that S&S success is because of Xfactor, but if your referring to what I said ealier yes. The video premiere on Xfactor did help it shoot to #1 on ITunes. Hell I had 2 friends message me saying did you see Brits new video on Xfactor just now? Plus that commercial was only played on a handful of channels. Lets not act like its that one insurance commercial you see everytime you turn on the TV, because it wasn't.

And are you kidding me? These shows do wonders. It helped Maroon 5, Cee-lo, and J.lo mainstream success again (Minus Xtina). Jennifer wouldn't have gotten a hit again if it wasn't for her American Idol exposure. She wouldn't have gotten all of her endorsement deals if it wasn't for American Idol either.

we were talking about performing in front of certain audiences. Not her sitting in a chair.

But even at that she was still comfortable (dancing in auditions, telling Simon her people had more talent, or to tell him to sign that check for carly).
