Regarding the Bonnie McKee collab --
About a month ago, Bonnie confirmed in her video fan chat that she has not worked with Katy on Katy's new album (and she doesn't know if she will), and that what they were working on in the photo of them together at the piano was "a special surprise." That leads me to believe that Bonnie feat Katy is the only possible explanation unless they were working on a song for another artist (which I highly doubt).
Also, in the
BBWOY Q&A, Katy said:
Quote:
I am doing little things here and there. I was just in the studio with another artist and it turned out all right. I'm going to start dusting off the wheels just a little: [I'm] going in with a couple of people in November and try out fun collaborations that maybe people wouldn't imagine.

The photo of her with Bonnie at the piano was posted on October 9. The timing is perfect, she must be referring to Bonnie. She's talking about collaborations in the quote, so she likely means she was recently in the studio working on a collaboration that will have her as the featured guest with another artist (Bonnie) taking the lead.
As talented as she may be, Bonnie could easily Neon Hitch into the oblivion. She probably knows she needs Katy's help to launch herself as a major pop star, and Katy is likely very eager to help. It would make sense for Katy to be on her lead single. Even if the collab isn't her lead, everything is pointing to a Katy feature somewhere on Bonnie's album.
Regarding the Zedd collab --
Let's not forget that Katy B exists, and she makes Zedd-ish music. "+Katy" could be her. Isn't she working on an album now? I especially think that's likely because of this:
Quote:
@tanya__maria: #CLARITY @Zedd who would you like to collaborate with? Someone you haven't collaborated with already
@Zedd: @tanya__maria Adele, muse, Wolfgang Gartner, Katy perry, thrice, deftones etc etc

That was posted on Nov 14. The question specifically asks "Someone you
haven't collaborated with already." The "+Katy" photo was posted on Nov 5. He would have already collaborated with Katy Perry by that point.
Granted, he may have been overlooking that since the Katy collab hadn't been released yet.
