well we both learned something, we were way too passionate and clashed heads. But I think the onyl way too fight racism is like we did head on. And then when heads cool down we realize we were on the same page all along. Plus we have to acknowledge the racism that we experience today and come to a common place to find some type of plan to move forward. We shouldn't be writing each other off simply based on race. Maybe we should start another thread on the plight of asians not being represented in america and unfair stereotypes???

Yep I think we forget alot we have alot in common XD I mean we are both on ATRL after all. And nah thats ok I just brought that up as a point :P People do realize the faults in everything so it doesn't need to be brought up

Damn this thread got messy as horse ****. so were does the discussion go from here????? I think we all need to recognize were different and there's nothing wrong with that, and if we try and pretend that we all are just the human race & not different. It won't end well that's just how I see it. I also think we need more predominatley minority tv shows and movies, just to have them I mean look at the proud family. Something so small had such an impact for a lot of minorities who don't get representation on tv. It's so simple if things were more diverse like Think Like A Man, I bet movies and tv shows would do a whole lot better as a whole commercial wise and maybe even critically wise

Yep. More diversity would be the best And I said before in this thread that we should all take a psych class because it really opens your mind in my opinion. Haha there is still one thing in this thread which hasnt been answered for me but I'll leave it for now because the person left or just didnt answer my question xD.

thanks for the friend request, but we also need diversity in lgbt cinema. Their are plenty of other races who are lgbt that can contribute to the converstation and have many differrent interesting stories to tell

Yes there are some white people that aren't racist, but they still benefit from the privileges white people get on the whole.

The Fed's analysis of 2005 home lending data found that 54.7 percent of black borrowers paid a higher-than-typical interest rate on home mortgages. That was up sharply from 32.4 percent in 2004.

For Hispanics, 46.1 percent paid more than typical for their mortgages last year - more than double the 20.3 percent reported in 2004.
