It's kind of flopping here in Brazil. The major radio stations in Rio de Janeiro used to play a lot of Ke$ha's songs, mainly "TiK ToK", "Your Love Is My Drug", "Take It Off" and "We R Who We R" months/years ago.
In fact, I haven't heard "Die Young" being played here yet. Nevertheless, people do know about the song. I went to a party last week, full of young people just like most of us, and they played it repeatedly.

honestly i don't even think that people would have made that big of a connection between the song and the shooting had the song kept being spun.
stations here have started playing it again. in power rotation. relentlessly.
all this is a load of horse crap because 1. mourners most likely do not listen to the radio during the grieving process, 2. the shooting still happened. die young can still evoke memories of the shooting. why not ban it altogether.

The only reason that's happening is because of the Connecticut shooting.
Now that many stations started doing it, it became a public thing and now everyone stopped spinning it.
Radios are rapidly increasing on plays of C'Mon, like more-so than any not-officially-released singles do.
It's released in 2 weeks and it's already 40 on Pop with 200+ updates daily

Right, but it's not even a bad thing. Die Young doesn't need to keep hogging time from her era.
There are so many more singles to release and if Die Young stuck around longer they'd
definitely cut the single amount down more... because RCA just does that kind of thing
