CIL is the most critically acclaimed single release of our time by a female pop star and her overall career and presence has been the blueprint for how kne should be in and outside of music.

I agree. I find it amusing when people try to compare gaga to Britney when gaga herself has already referred to Britney as a legend and a big inspiration.

She has inspired a slew of British artists such as Lily Allen and Marina and the Diamonds and continues to make her mark. People walk onto the stage of talent shows and say they want to be as big as Britney Spears in five years because they know she is a legend and an icon.

I didn't grow up listening to Lady Gaga, she is a newbie in comparison. Britney has remained prominent from my infancy to adulthood.

But that "wrong material" out sold ur faves last album I guess someone with " the right material" in US & WW, w/o any US top 10 single or world tour to support it. I'm trying to understand your logic on "her presence will not be felt."
