Both careers are practically over. Warrior proved Kesha is a singles artist, no explanation needed, and now he can't work with Katy. Kelly and Britney have both moved on, and Def Jam probably won't let Rihanna work with him after YDO flopped. Who else is there? Gaga is "above him" Beyonce rejected him, and Nicki's going urban/declining anyways. They're all each other have.

YDO underperforming had nothing to do with Luke. It was released too soon. I mean, We Found Love was still topping the charts 2 months after YDO was released
She seemed very pleased with the song when she introduced it. Although maybe she was just being professional at the time.
I know this is going to sound stupid, but throughout the video she looks uninterested, almost sad, as if she's trying to sell something she knows she isn't selling. Also, when she says she "really really likes [this song]" her eyebrows raise and her lip kind of twitches.
Anyways, it's evident that Warrior isn't what she wanted it to be, as proved by the older demos & snippets from the early recording sessions.

Regardless. That was the first time that Luke produced for Rihanna, and it didn't do so well. Her label will probably not have that again.
What probably happened was ke$ha wanted to make a pure rock album. However, RCA and Luke both told her that wasn't going to happen because dance music is what is dominant rn. So, Ke$ha's dream album, which she had probably been anticipating and planning since the end of Animal, was transformed into something that would be commercially successful.

His contract is renewed only for Universal Artists and Katy label isn't owned by Universal. He was allowed to produce WA because TDCC was still under his contract as the executive producer of TD. She might be able to work with him, but it's highly unlikely.
