How did Sober & Please Don't Leave Me peak so low?
Back in 2008, I never payed much attention to charts. I knew where a song peaked on the Hot 100 but didn't pay any mind to the formula. I didn't care about the radio, and digital charts at all. Now that I look back, understanding how the Hot 100 is made up, how did they peak that low?
Sober was #2 on Pop, and #1 on HAC. I figured sales were low, just looked it up and Sober went double Platinum. How did it only peak at #15 then? If I saw those stats without knowing the song, I would think a Top 10 peak was certain. Possibly Top 5.
Please Don't Leave Me was #6 on Pop, and #2 on HAC. It also peaked at #5 on AC (Her biggest peak there?) It did sell relatively low but still went Platinum. I would've thought a peak in the 11-15 range and possibly lower Top 10.
I might be answering myself here but I'm guessing it had loads of longevity but never had a huge digital presence. Does anyone know?

All these songs had great longevity. PDLM was actually really big on the radio.
P!nk was still gaining power in the US back then. Also, she didn't do any big promo then for these songs. Her tour started early and main focus was EU and AU.
People didn't know about her performing abilities back then.
