Since The Voice songs rose last night. Knocking out the top ten, where Swedish House & P!nk have been lingering to snatch a top ten placement.. so they moved ahead. I don't think its connected.

I'm pretty sure Dia Frampton and Javier Colon were topping iTunes during the first season of The Voice and well, we see what came of that. Cassadee(?) Pope will go back to being an irrelevant as she was prior to getting this lucky exposure time.

Also Melanie's single reached Top 100. But it was "Listen," arguably amongst the worst material Beyonce' has ever recorded. And it itself bombed, so a singing contestant's rendition wasn't expected to do well, imo.

Yep, but Dia and Javier just topped iTunes on the finale, Cassadee has topped iTunes 3 times and 5 of her songs have been Top 3

They only went number one with their final performance songs. The support they've gotten has been nowhere near what Cassadee has managed to do. She's also more viable as an artist than the past winners. Not saying she will win, cause Juliet Simms should have last season, going by iTunes performance.

And they chose the winner's singles for X-Factor to be the songs they auditioned with. Which was kind of stupid, really.

The good thing about the Voice is that the artists aren't listed as "the Voice' but as individuals. So they only have a few times to chart and won't set any records for most songs on billboard by a group or things like that.
