I first saw the adverts for this ages ago; before it was released, and I thought it look brilliant! I love a good scare, and seeing this was made by the same people that made Insidious I was like "**** Yeah! ".
I never saw it in the cinema; I save that for those few films of the year that I think are really special (see numbers 1-4 ). I watched Sinister 8 days ago and **** me it was so scary! Not nightmare-inducing but pretty ****ed up and jumpy.
I liked it, quite a lot too! It has a fantastically creative and original ending that no-one expects, and it was a great touch! It was nothing excessively excellent, and I probably won't watch it again for a few years (until I want to be proper scared again) but it was a good film and worthy of placing here.
