I love "Lights" and I like a few songs from Ellie but with Anything Could Happen I always had mixed feelings because I can't stand the part when Ellie says I KNOW IT'S GONNA BE, I KNOW IT'S GONNA BE, I KNOW IT'S GONNA BE
But 5th Harmony's performance made me like the song.
LOL let's stop pretending 'I Knew You Were A Britney Spears Leftover.' is some innovative, chart-defining masterpiece. It's an average T.Swift song with a dubstep break as it's only highlight.

Everything ELSE in the Top 10 deserves #1 over it. Home, S&S, Diamonds, Thrift Shop >>>

Clock. Look, Taylor is one of my faves but I don't pretend that this song is special, I just want to forget that she released this and WANEGBT. Begin Again, Red, Treacherous (best song on Red), Everything Has Changed, State of Grace >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Thrift Shop is just amazing and so original, just like LOOH. It desearves the 1st spot. And if you think Macklemore is not a good artist, please listen to the masterpiece below.
"I Knew You Were Trouble" is as bland as some of Taylor's other songs. A weak voice singing about her ex over a pop track with dubstep influences is not innovative. Not hating on its success, though. It's a cute enough song.

I thought I was the only one who felt that about this song, everyone is praising the song like crazy and it's just a cute teeny song.
I agree with the general consensus here, IKYWT is cute at best, nothing fresh or innovative about it .
I don't think anyone in here has said it was innovative or game changing (I don't go into SYG, so I don't know what's been said in there.). It's a solid pop song at best. Nothing more.

Her fans have been saying it is,
Anyway, looks like DY will end up selling less than both LOOH and Diamonds
