Does anyone else think Crazy Kids would underperform?
It should've been the lead single.
I have a feeling it would. "Crazy Kids" is one of those tracks that fans of Ke$ha love.
But the general public, on the other hand -- that's a different story. Look what
happened with "Criminal." Look what happened with "California King
Bed." Look what happened with "Marry The Night." Just because
fans love an album single, doesn't mean the public will.

This is very true about fan favorites. But I disagree that Crazy Kids would under-perform. I think it will be the biggest hit this era. It's similar to We R Who We R (message and We Are's), but different enough and on a whole new level. There are so many memorable and goofy lines, the whistle and "we are" chants are extremely infectious, and the bridge is massive. I think it would be a crime to not release it. But it is by far my favorite song so I could be delusional

"Warrior" and "Thinking of You" are the fan favorites that would flop, not "Crazy Kids."
Picking singles for this album is actually really difficult.
Every song that has potential to smash as a single is a risk for the general public.
And the non-risky songs that are guaranteed to please the general public would die very fast as singles.
Yet somehow this album is "basic, generic and nothing new."
Yeah, but they're not doing anything different. We could manage her career better. I wish she had Interscope as her record label tbh.
nah, Interscope is also f*cking things up with a big portion of their artists, I seriously think a bunch of artists and producers should go together and form a new label with the right strategy and promo per individual artist

Am I the only one scared for her singles? The safest choice in my opinion is OWDWY. The rest are risky, tbh.

I totally second both of these posts. I guess we're just so used to K$ putting out guaranteed smashes that it's hard to predict how the general public would respond to anything a little more risky.
I feel like the songs with potential to smash could take off with aggressive promo, but we all know that promoting her singles is not always Ke$ha's label's strong suit.

not really, they are really awful at this point lol, they sign more and more artists, but market their artists horribly, Gaga is lucky enough , but most artists get bad planned era's and promo at wrong points, when the song basically is already dying, or before the song even took off. Just look at No Doubt's and Nelly Furtado's current era's and even Madonna for a part.
And her kid is just the "Baby" in Miss Keri Baby.
