I've always wanted Kelly to do her big band Christmas album. But a whole year? Seems so far away to start recording for it. Also, just two horn players seems kinda small for a full out Christmas album. But who knows? Girl is full of surprises these days
Maybe it'll be similar to the Smoakstack Sessions... 1 day, 1 take. If it is a charity EP, maybe they'll include a few Christmas songs and "You Still Won't Know What It's Like" ??
Maybe that's the big surprise for next year, the big band Xmas album?
Not here for a Christmas album. Only maybe if she also releases a new studio album as well, but if not
I'm just not that keen on them because usually, Christmas albums contain the same songs over and over again. Silent Night is not that great to be recorded by every freaking artist out there. If you do a Christmas record, Kelly, please make something different, release unknown holiday songs or write new ones.
