In 2008 she was a man and a one hit wonder, in 2011 she was preachy and desperate, but unstoppable, and by the end of 2011 she was a nobody. People say things.
If her next single comes out and rockets to #1, and sparks a true CULTURAL hit as well, those critics will shut up within the hour. But it's not easy to get such a massive hit, as seen by her lack of ability to repeat the JD/BR moments. Or just see Xtina
With the tour being such a hit, she really has the fuel globally to have a huge hit. itd be ashame if it comes out and disappoints
