Red will pass Fearless' 11 weeks at #1
It will sell more than 21
She'll be the only woman in history to have two AOTY grammys
All of this while being a sell-out
I Dreamed a Dream almost blocking Fearless from best selling album of 2009 was worse. Those 500k+ weeks were killing me and then she sold like 200k copies in total for 2010(talk about some frontloaded sales ) Her holiday sales were quite impressive at the time.
lol, i dint even follow charts back then!! The Gift got me mad though.. except that week when a bunch of new releases put SN to downright #6, gift really stole 2-3 weeks from the lord!!!
Let's not stoop that low, fellas. #classybitchesdontdothat.

Country pop sensation Taylor Swift may be one of the most successful musical artists in the world, but that success comes with a price. In a new interview, the 22-year-old (23 on Dec. 13) ‘Red’ hitmaker says she has been the object of more and more stalker threats over the past few years.
“I get nervous when I have stalker incidents,” Swift tells Cosmopolitan UK. “I try not to talk too much about it because it scares me. Sometimes you get a dude who kind of wants to steal you. That’s why I’m so grateful I have people looking after me, like [my bodyguard] Dennis.”
The superstar adds that the threat has increased as her career keeps on reaching new heights. “Over the past couple of years it’s got worse,” Swift acknowledges. “I get told if there’s been an attempt or a threat. My security text me a picture and say, ‘Look out for this dude; he’s driven across the country, he’s off his meds,’ or something like that. No one has ever been successful in getting into my house or anything like that. I have an amazing security team.”
Despite her fears, the multi-platinum singer-songwriter doesn’t intend to live her life around stalkers. “There are a lot of them. I just try to be safe and be conscious of people around me,” she relates. “It’s something you just have to deal with. It’s the price you pay for getting to do what you love. You can let it take over your life and make you fearful all the time, or you can live your life in spite of it.”

It is the fastest-selling debut album to reach two million in sales and was 2009's second biggest-selling album. In just 6 weeks it sold 3.1 million sold according to SoundScan; behind Taylor Swift's Fearless which sold 3.21 million[5] since being released one year prior on 11 November 2008. The album moved 3,974,000 copies in the United States to date.[40] The album sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide in its first three weeks of release, and has sold almost 9 million to date
Christmas albums have always been crazy holiday sellers iirc, Josh Broban, Michael Buble, Susan Boyle!! the royalties from The Gift and IDAD must be enough to finance the rest of her life tbh..!!
