I've heard a couple of Me'Shell's songs before and liked them, but I never investigated further. With that high praise, I'll be sure to check out her album.
I will listen to Peace Beyond Passion just for you ECNEICSNOC.
I may share one of the most beautiful ballads ever written in music from the selftitled. The single version of 'Milk'. The album version is lovely too but it's more trip hop, the Siren Mix just works,

Getting off of my stan train, now we have Tori's singular addition to the countdown. This album could be seen as a pre courser to albums from Liz Phair and Alanis Morrisette that came out later in the decade.
I will listen to Peace Beyond Passion just for you ECNEICSNOC.

You guys should get into her. Before Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and the like were creating "neo-soul", Me'Shell was essentially creating the genre. Oh and you guys can call me Sean.
Manya! Haven't heard anything from Tori before but I did enjoy reading some Mark's reviews of her, I will listen to Y Kant Tori Read first anyway when I get to her, LOL.

The 90s weren't so kind to Michael. Instead of being idolized for his music and perfuming abilities like he was in the 80s, his every move was twisted by the media. Accusations of skin lightening, excessive plastic surgery, and child molestation drove him into the drug addition that was an indirect factor in his death. But none of that mattered when he came back slaying the charts in 1995. Scream, his collaboration with sister Janhovah, became the first song in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 to debut within the top 5 (thanks to a then-new chart rule). He then one-upped himself when You Are Not Alone became the first song to EVER debut atop the Hot 100. A hugely successful world tour followed.
