Loreen is one of the biggest newcomers of the year and she didn't disppoint with her first studio album after the hugely-successfull "Euphoria". The album is a mixture of Euro-Pop and a few dark ballads. Highlights are Euphoria, See You Again and My Heart Is Refusing Me.
#19 Linkin Park - Living Things
I've always loved Linkin Park and after the rather weak "A Thousands Sun" they succeeded to win me back with "Living Things". Highlights are Lost In The Echo, Roads Untraveled and Lies Greed Misery.
#18 The Killers - Battle Born
Battle Born's album cover is easily the best one of the year! And not only the cover is amazing, but the music as well. It's sad this album didn't receive a lot of recignition because it really deserves to. Highlights are Battle Born, Be Still and Runaway.
Haven't checked out Loreen's album yet, wasn't too keen on Euphoria.
Must admit I'm not really a fan of Linkin Park, I do like Burn It Down though.
I find The Killers very hit and miss.
Loreen and The Killers! Heal is a really good album, perfect euro-pop/dance-pop. I love it! Crying Out Your Name is flawless.
I've never heard the Linkin Park album though, but I need to listen to it, I've been recommended it, plus a lot of friends like Linkin Park! Good choices so far
Your list seems interesting Loreen's album is really good, haven't listened to Linkin Park's yet. I really liked them, but A Thousand Suns disappointed me, so I lost interest. Also haven't really listened to The Killers' album, but what I've heard wasn't bad. Can't wait to see which album was/is your favorite, but I have an idea...
I still haven't listened to it fully, but it was such a return to form after A Thousand Suns.
