The problem with her was her long ass break, a very generic first single and release the album over 2 MONTHS away from the first single, it's all that comes to my mind. The promo wasn't the problem because she had it.
There was over a year & a half gap between Blow & Die Young. The Cannibal era ended too early, & she could've bothered to at least release Crazy Beautiful Life.
Die Young should've never happened, & C'Mon won't happen.
what are people thinking when they say that 85k isnt bad, i mean TD debuted with 200k and people thought that was bad. LMAO
It didn't crack 200k. It opened with under 200k with a promotional parade and frontloaded by two huge #1 singles. It was bad, it is bad, and it will always be bad.
The fact of the matter is that Ke$ha's album not debuting in the top 3 (let alone #1) is a HUGE shock to EVERYONE whether they wanna admit it or not. Last year everyone was anticipating her return. I've seen countless post on forums referring to her as "The Queen" and trumpeting her return to "slay the lessors" so I don't wanna read that her album underperforming debut week "was expected". I don't wanna hear it because it's not true - everyone expected her to smash.
