CeCe Frey has left the set of X Factor, and our body has broken out into leopard-print shaped hives in protest. This gal and her imaginary bald eagle (yes, that's a thing) were the best part of our lives, and we're this close to writing a letter of complaint to Khloe Kardashian. We blame her for all our problems.
In celebration of CeCe's reign on X Factor, we've rounded up 5 reasons she shouldn't have been sent home.
1. She Wanted It the Most (Except for Reed Deming)
CeCe was like the Little Engine That Could of The X Factor. She just kept chugging along no matter how many people hated on her, and it's all because of her passion. There's no doubt that this gal loves being in the spotlight, and we're pretty sure she would have pulled a Britney and shaved her head if it meant winning the $5 million.
2. She's a Great Performer
Not many contestants have put on truly fabulous live shows complete with props, singing, and dancing — but CeCe knows what's up. She dominated the stage every time she performed, and she had true star power. Plus she wore Daisy Dukes on stage, so bow down to your new queen.
3. She's Great at Taking Criticism Unlike some people (Reed Deming's vest), CeCe listened to what the judges had to say and put their advice to good use. If they wanted her stripped-down, she'd do a performance sans backup. If they wanted a show, she'd give them a show. Girlfriend was always willing and ready to try harder. Sob, it might be time to right a think piece that's even more thinkier than this one.
4. She's Totally Unique CeCe is her own unique breed of superstar. She has the funky style of Ke$ha combined with the vocals and performance skills of Pink. Basically, she's the best of both worlds plus half-leopard. CeCe's competitors are all awesome, but no one holds a candle to this girl!
5. Her Style Is The Tops Remember when this happened? So do we. And that is all Source
CeCe Frey 'Knew' She Wasn't Going To Win 'X Factor'
After the dust settles on the second season of "The X Factor" and the eventual winner is crowned (spoiler alert: it's most likely going to be Tate Stevens or Carly Rose Sonenclar), the most memorable and polarizing contestant must be the blond, leopard-print-loving CeCe Frey.
From her initial sassy audition of Xtina's "Ain't No Other Man" to her mock rivalry with Paige Thomas (over a Whitney Houston song, no less) and her over-the-top, glitzed-out performances, Frey managed to both entertain and frustrate us week to week.
It all came to an end during this week's elimination episode, which saw mentor Demi Lovato lose her entire team after Frey was finally voted out of the competition.
If the young songstress reminded you of Cher Lloyd on the U.K. version of "The X Factor" or Adam Lambert from "American Idol" — i.e., a polarizing, out-of-the-box pop-star wannabe — you're not alone.
"When Adam Lambert was on ['Idol'], I said, 'Now that's the kind of dude that needs to win one of these shows,' " Frey told MTV News on Friday (December 7). "But the thing is, performers like me and Adam Lambert and Diamond White and Lyric 145, we're not the kind of artists that win these things. We're the kind of artist that win afterwards — or I hope so, anyway — and I'm going to work my butt off to get there."
As defiant as ever, Frey was adamant she didn't come into this competition expecting to win.
"You hope for that, but I pretty much knew," she said of her chances. "I mean, I had leopard print on my face, for Christ's sake! I pretty much knew that I wasn't that cookie-cutter girl that you pick to win one of these things, but I knew that I was going to use this and run with it."
Without a doubt, Frey was a fierce performer throughout the competition, managing to climb the leaderboard, defy Simon's comment to "pack a suitcase" last week and amass a legion of fans. But was leaving in sixth place enough for the rising songstress?
"You bet your ass I'm happy with sixth place!"

After surviving two sing-offs, a barrage of criticism, and a seemingly endless supply of detractors, CeCe was Demi's final contestant in the Young Adults category to be sent home.
"CeCe went home and I'm really, really bummed," Lovato said. "It's really disappointing that more people didn't pull through for her when I know she has a really strong fanbase. It's not the last you're going to see of her."
Rocking leopard skin paint in solidarity with her contestant, Demi made it clear how close she had become with her contestant.
"I'm more sad to see her go because I feel like I developed a really great friendship with her and I genuinely care about her as a person. I'm bummed specifically because I don't want to say bye to her."
Queen CeCe getting all that press I love it.. She's such a fighter

I agree. Vocally, maybe CeCe is better but emotionally Demi >>>>
I was a youtube subscriber. Her Super Bass cover was ADORABLE and I watched the rest of her videos and got hooked. I was wondering why she never put out anything new, and then her youtube channel disappeared and I was like but then I saw her on X-Factor and I was SLAYED.
