Oh god if Nicki releases a Take Care I won't be able to survive
except I want it with more meaning. I want her to tell us about Onika and why she does it all. I want to hear about relationships. love, loss, mommie, SB, Wayne, and struggle.

Oh lord
I refuse to hear about her daddy burning ha house down for the thirteenth time.
I mentioned Take Care because the album STILL has fun uptempo songs.
The next album needs to have the UIF's, VVVs, one RH, some Here I Am's, a COAC/DIOE, one Roman Revenge, and some other tracks, and it'll be good.
oh, well I want of like pms music too though. like SM MM HI RTM Fly but more exstinve and introspective. I want one ballady love song too, not just sad. Like right through to the max meets Ms. Hill you know?
No more generic pop lyrics, no more generic hip-hop lyrics. Absolutely no more brag rapping.
Better quality control - don't have 3 or 4 same-sounding tracks. That applies to all genres.
Though she should just give up pop music, as she sucks at promoting it.
But none of this is happening.
*hippo cackles*
Well, now that you got off the pop wagon it is clear that she needs to do more story telling.
She definitely has a lot of experiences just in the past year to draw from.
I don't think she will need to brag that much in the future as it will be much of the same. She just needs to take it to the next level. I feel like she will show more humility, vulnerability and even admit mistakes and give us more positive lyrics.
Fly, Save me, Moment for life, Here I am, Blazin, Superbass, Va va voom, Blow ya mind, Dominoes, Champion, Fireburns, High school, Freedom, Up in flames/Hell Yeah vibe minus all the bragging.
Of course she'll have a couple of did it on ems they are still inspiring vs. I am your leader (which I love) which is pure bragging.

Let's say it goes Top 10 and Idol pushes it to become one of Nicki's biggest songs.
It will result in expectations for Nicki to continue to deliver such musicality next era.
Also, the idea of Nicki (who already has an identity crisis as a rapper) releasing an all singing pop-rock ballad. Ay-ay-ay!
Not at all. If she were nominated for Starships at the Grammy's and won then i would be worried.
This will be a good way to close out the super pop phase of her career. It is relatable, vulnerable and marketable just on the strength of using Marilyn monroe. It will be a hit and if you really think about it, this will be the perfect way to close the era out.

I don't get the negativity. I get confused because there are like handfuls of people with Nicki avis but stay doing the most with the negativity...and no it's not being real it's being real negative.
I would have thought the grammy snub was going to wipe out any fairweathers and the core would hold on strong...I was hoping for that but I guess not.

I don't see the point in sharing this...if you are a Nicki Minaj fan you know what her plans are for the title for her 3rd album. Do you get gratification out of just being negative about the artist in your avi?
It's crazy because some of the posts that you, Team Minaj, Kim floppible, yogosan and a few others make yet have the nerve to have an Nicki Minaj avi. I don't get it. It's hard to see the difference between a random poster coming in throwing jabs or even when they do it in other threads...yet they would get issued warnings.
It's post like this that makes this fanbase so easy to make fun of. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the other fanbases lurk take direct quotes from you all and then laugh at how even her "core fans" shade her more than they do. For instance, must yogo san still bring up the 105.1 interview...how many weeks are we going to randomly discuss this. I mean...
I can't believe you all don't see that it doesn't make you look good at all.
Yes, no one is going to agree with everything Nicki does but wow some of you all are better off taking that break that you want her to take...save yourselves from the dependency, the hunger, the thirst...

It would be successful in the UK, but not in the US. You need to know the difference in climate, musically between the US and UK.
If Nicki want's to go the ballad route next era, it has to be more along the lines of Save Me, and even Fire Burns, than MM.
When I think of the next album, I think of it having a grandiose quality to it, which uses elements from PF and songs like RH and even VVV, to create an quality album that's also commercial, yet literally grandiose in nature. Something like Take Care, but with a TINGE of Pop, but like Super Bass Pop. The kind of Pop that's acclaimed, like SB and VVV. I want it to have lyrical qualities like PF, and have ONE brag song, and the rest be serious, along with one FUN song.
I want the first single to be similar to Take Care (song) by Drake, in that it's an Urban song with Pop influences that can be successful WW.
I want the next album to have 14 tracks, and three bonus tracks, along with a Best Buy exclusive. I want a premiere performance at the VMAs, and I want a radio deal, with it playing at the top of the hour on every Rhythmic and Pop station. I want the era to last until the end of 2014, in which Nicki can take a break until the end of 2015.
Sounds good but I do think Marilyn monroe will be a hit. I think the video will be top quality and i think she will promote it to go top 20 at least. On pop, it will go top 10 i believe. People are underestimating the audience that she can gain from such a universal song.

I just now saw the interview like a week ago, her attitude was extremely uncalled for towards the interviewers.

Pink Friday: The Pink Print boo. Sorry.

TBH Nicki has a better chance at getting a vogue cover abroad.
and yes. I'm more than aware that photo is old. I remember asking where the rest of the shoot was. they had too much footage for there not to have been a second shoot. they should be ashamed of themselves tbh. Why wouldn't they ask her to reshoot when she doesn't even use that horrendous look any more?
I would rather they used an overly photoshopped picture of her in a straight blonde lacefront looking like a white woman than that used that clown like image of the queen.
Oh. Nicki better get a Vogue cover next era.

She has a lot of experiences to talk about in her LIFE. She definitely went through struggles before fame and she needs to talk about that stuff in her raps.
She needs to be more personal with her songs because that's what will make her feel relatable and will make people fall in love with her again. I'd love some hard, Hip Hop tracks on The Pink Print as well as some twerking bops, but overall I want it to be an album that will garner critical acclaim as well as showing people she can make serious music with meaning.
I think realistically we can't expect much international support this next era if she pushes forward with an urban album.
Smart thing is she prepares an international version of the album (that could also act as the deluxe in America). That'd be a good thing actually, as it means Nicki stays on-trend in the countries that like her as she is, whilst the majority of urban Americans aren't exposed to those singles and are none the wiser.
I'd go as far as to hold off on an international release of the next album, and instead repackage it months after the US release with new tracks and some decent dedicated promo. She sold 250k in the UK with botched promo - with proper promo, she could sell twice that amount! And her YouTube and VEVO can region lock any non-US material.
Nicki did well this current era internationally, so let her focus on getting the urban community on her side again in US market, then come back to the UK, Europe and Australasia.

This is extremely clever. it would be something to consider, but remember they do check for her quality raps abroad, so don't be mistaken. I'm sure cross over stuff will do very well ala Va Va Voom

girl, I love Nicki. Anything I say about her is my own opinion. I've never said anything that wasn't constructive. I've said over and over she's more than talented.
anyTways, I watched the 90 minute video.

I agree with this. We all had our meltdowns and dragged Onika through filth.. Now how about being more positive and showing her that we have her back? I can only imagine how horrible/ let down she feels right now. Nicki just needed tough love and hopefully she got the message. I'm not beating the woman down anymore. At no time should we be agreeing with the people who hate her..
