GUYSSSSSSSS
I JUST FINISHED REPLY 1997 TODAY

(I know I'm late please don't hate me)
Okay. Reply 1997 has officially become my all-time favorite drama. I usually make no effort to finish a drama after its 3rd or 4th episode but this time, I got hooked since the very beginning of the drama. Part of the reason why I love Reply 1997 so much is that I feel so connected to it. There were many things I could relate to, from fangirling to getting shafted and to the good old times of the 90s. The setting, the storyline, the characters, the vibe, the soundtrack,... everything just harmonized with each other so well. DAEBAK to the creators of this drama for understanding the pain and tears of fangirls and fanboys and at the same time for being able to take on the troublesome whiny yet carefree aspects of teenagers with such a witty and comical lens.
I definitely enjoyed watching the chemistry between Eunji and Seo In Guk grow (not really though because Seo In Guk had been wanting Eunji the entire time) But anyways, they are so cute and I love Eunji's "thug" attitude and her fangirling ethics. H.O.T was my jam back when I was little too.
BUT SERIOUSLY I WAS BAWLING LIKE A CHILD FOR HOYA AND SEO IN GUK LIKE WHY CANT THEY BE TOGETHER WHY CANT THEY HAVE AT LEAST A KISS OR SOMETHING??? Hoya is my bias in Infinite so it ripped me apart seeing him so hopelessly in love with Seo In Guk

I'm glad they were bold enough to tackle such a sensitive issue nowadays.
**** I need somebody to rant about Reply 1997 with me please please please I finished it today and am planning on rewatching the entire series next week (I have to prepare mentally for the decision from my beloved college

)
