Also 50 Cent has a large fanbase, it's a brilliant song, and was performed on The Voice I believe.

It's gonna do bad in airplay though I think, so it won't be around for long. But I'll treasure this moment.

50 Cent and Ciara were king and queen of 2005, so hopefully Ciara can now get #1 on iTunes again.

If you go on a hip hop forum, you'll see 50 Cent has a big fanbase. Most rappers do, even ones that never get into the charts.

I mean, I visit other boards and see him spoken about, but he doesn't strike me as someone who has a fanbase after he's falling off.

Yeah, his fanbase is much smaller than it used to be obviously. The song would probably have 10% less sales without his fanbase imo, so he can't be discredited entirely. The Voice, the music video, Eminem + Adam, and the fact that I think it's a brilliant song and very catchy, and has pop appeal, is helping it sell aswell.
