Nicki has always gotten hate, now that she has more exposure that hate is seen more easily. Even her mixtape songs get tons of hate.
TRU which is great IMO, is getting tons of hate. I mean those songs are just as good as Mix Tape songs if not better... Nicki's problem is her team. they're to ignorant to be proactive about the hate. she should be building up her public image, not making it seem like she's a cut throat, money hungry business woman. Nicki is too talented and smart to go down in flames.
She needs to ditch YMBC, or revamp it all which leads me to this photo she posted on twitter...

Exactly, it's like people forget she had ALOT of hate against her before dropping her first album.
Even then, people were bashing PF for being too pop but whenever I hear them its like the album was praised as a rap classic.
SHe's at the top and the crown is heavy. She didn't handle it right in the beginning but it seems like she is being more receptive and taking the hate with stride. I'm not talking about twitter rants but for her music because at the beginning of the era she would curse a reviewer out for calling her pop. Now she accepts that she did go pop and is transitioning back to urban since she branded herself on a WW and noticed that the overseas people were bopping to her urban stuff more than they were to her pop stuff.
She really just needs to not go POP again.
She can go Hip POP but not too extreme. She went too extreme and won in one sense but lost in another.
She has shown that she can do commercial rap whether it is more on the bubblegum side or on the urban side (Superbass, Dominoes, Muny, Fly, Moment for life, Blazin, Blow ya mind, Champion, Fireburns, save me, Va va voom, Hell Yeah, I'm legit etc. these songs could be played on top 40.
She just needs to do straight urban, r&b and hip POP that will get multi format play and she will be good next era
