"Out Alive" is soooo overrated here. It's a good song, but nothing we haven't heard a million times already. It's a safe hit but I think there are songs on the album that are more progressive hits, so I'd rather them.

"Past Lives" is easy to see why it wouldn't be a single, and "Gold Trans Am", whilst being an awesome and catchy as hell song, I feel would go the way of "Blah Blah Blah", only without the initial mass of hype.

"Last Goodbye" has the potential to be massive. It's radio friendly, well written and very catchy. Plus I feel it plays off of the indie sounds that's been creeping its way onto radio as of late. I think it would do well at Pop and Hot AC, but faulter at Rhythmic a little.

Yes I love the indie flavor in Last Goodbye, this is what I wanted from Die Young. And from the song descriptions to the Nate Ruess co-write, I thought that was what Die Young was going to sound like - like Last Goodbye.

There's literally no shade to this, but RCA most likely planned the Cannibal EP and Animal + Cannibal to try to ride off how well it worked for GaGa. Super Bass worked well for Nikki Monog as a bonus track/single to sell the deluxe edition, so RCA might be planning to release Last Goodbye in the future, probably not as the second or third single though. It's too good to pass by. (Plus Dr. Luke said it's his favorite track)
