I really don't know. There is evidence that he clearly loves his fans and is a very nice person but then I watch the AMA's and see him bragging about proving the haters wrong and acting cocky. It really depends.

Regardless, I don't hate him. He works hard, is an exceptional performer, and makes enjoyable music and treats his fans nicely most of the time (aside from that one incident in the airport).

So NO.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, most 18 year old boys are cocky. So since most (or all) boys his age are into themselves, I don't blame him either. I'm guilty of that too. Being cocky is natural for most men so I really shouldn't hold that against him. Not to mention, most celebrities have big egos too and they still get praise.

A lot of insecure people act arrogant as a way to seem tougher. It gives them confidence. But it's a guess anyways.
