I think we'll get the new single soon as in late December so I don't think she'll have Revel out at that time. Maybe in time to correspond with the SB?

December is a really bad time to release a single though...Its possible, maybe make a push for the Xmas number one and get huge radio gains when the freeze is over. She'd have to have a monster single to do that. As for Revel...a very early December release would deliver nice sales and be a nice way to start off the general public buzz. I'm not really here for it though.

There have been more than one "inside" source that says they've heard the single will be out in December, whether we can be sure IDK. With Bey you NEVER know until right before it happens

'Irreplaceable' was released Dec 5th, 2006

Both were MASSIVE hits

Well, IDK, she's working with some producers different from her usual sound.

I expect more pop, honestly, here are some rumored producers

Greg Kurstin (Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Marina), Sia (Rihanna, Christina), The Cataracs (Dev), The Chromatics, Dr. Luke (Kesha, Katy Perry), Sacha Skarbek (Adele, Lana) (etc)

There's an exception to every known statement. Neither were lead singles and were urban songs released in the urban era and when Bey was dominating. We have no idea what this song will sound like and with Bey's single performance last era she has virtually no momentum to capitalize on. Besides...the radio freeze still exists...
