In this effectively understated ballad, Wynonna barely holds herself together as she watches her lover walk out the door. Though it wasn't particularly beloved by voters, it seems no one strongly disliked "Is It Over Yet" either; it's the first song on the countdown to receive no scores below 5.
I don't even understand how this made is past some of her better songs. Whatever, my two 10s for her are still in so I'm happy.
I think it's one of her best! I love how she sounds on the verge of tears, but she's trying to keep it together to seem strong in front of her ex. That's such an honest emotional state. I really would have liked to see this one finish higher.

I completely agree. I also felt lot of emotion in her voice in "Strongest Weakness" and "She Is His Only Need". I'll be bumped if those two are eliminated now too.
Belinda left behind the Go-Go's with this gleeful bop about the foolish joy of young love, featuring a guitar solo from Andy Taylor of Duran Duran. If not for ClassicMainstream, it would have finished in at least the top thirty of this list. Sorry, Ace!
Sander Kleinenberg's remix gave Annie her third straight #1 club hit, but the album version of "Wonderful" is another one of her gorgeous heartbreak ballads. When the melancholy verse revs into a thumping chorus—as Ace put it, Annie "catches the spirit"—it's one of the most thrillingly soulful moments in her catalog.
