Too bad the thread was closed. Its silly how you mention a Beyonce accomplishment and maybe even hint at how it could be bigger than we think and people go crazy and won't accept it, meanwhile the Vevo count starts a year after it's release and it was one of the most watched/talked about/mimiced videos of all time. Gangnam Style has close to 800 million after only a few months, and somehow it's unfathomable that in 4 years Single Ladies couldn't have reached this number?

True. As little credit as Beyonce gets, I know that I give her ALL the credit she deserves and more because she is the only artist that truly represents everything I want in a singer, dancer, actress, performer, writer, director etc.

I'd rather be a fan of an artist that no on appreciates that is talented, than one whom everyone loves but sucks (because a lot of people have bad taste, which is why sales is such a silly way of comparing someone).

I don't think many are really aware that Beyoncé keeping her name out there with simple picture uploads can affect so much, especially on her months away from the limelight. When she first created Beyonce.com & her tumblr the reception was HUGE. Millions and millions of views in one day and a steady stream of news articles with every new upload, even now some controversy ("Take that Mitches!"). And now Instgram; her first two pics have already crossed the 100k mark in "likes' and have only been up for two weeks. Her follower count is rising a little too slow for me tho. She got 300k in one week, she should've got another 300k by now.


just imagine her digital pull during the Superbowl or when her era actually starts.
