The song is top 20 on itunes & it's doing good on radio. It's going to be fine it's not as if its going to suddenly plummet down itunes just because she performs a different song

it's going to be PTA 2.0 though in terms of how well it does in charts/over-all. If she actually put some effort into the song and did some promo on it, it could reach Super Bass/Starships status

I have to say we all thought the same about PTA and then she did no major performances for it and it stalled. I mean I know this song is better than PTA but I'm just gonna be pissed if this ends up stalling and she could of helped it with a performance. I hope that doesn't happen though.

I understand the disappointment because a VVV/Freedom performance would kill two birds with one stone; however, ppl need to get over it. I would be pissed if she were performing the boys but no she is performing Freedom.
the performance just needs to be worth a full set if they aren't going to do VVV.

Va va voom doesn't need the promo nearly as much as Freedom which already received 10+ adds from radio.
I will cringe when she starts the second verse but whatevs.

Its going to peak inside top 20 with no promo or support at all from Nicki, imagine how well it could do if she gave 2 ***** about it, its just so frustrating that she isn't being smart and using the AMAs to her full advantage, she could easily slip in a little VVV before she does Freedom.

It won't plummet, but it will not reach its full potential. A song can only last so long without promo. That's why a lot of people are frustrated. This has been THE SONG since day one labeled a hit by critics and listeners and she is handling it rather idiotically.

the song will never reach its full potential because it should have been the first single. Since it wasn't or released as a follow up the song will not reach where it needs to be this late in the game but it will still be a hit.
I bet this song will go top 3 on pop radio top 5/10 on hot 100 regardless. Later singles don't usually get alot of promo anyway.
She is pushing this Freedom song like a single so we just need to hope that the radio adds for the single, video and promo make this a hit so that she can keep pushing along with 2 more urban singles.

We indeed are. This continues to be THE BOP of the album + Re-Up combined. I want to settle for no less than #1 on the Hot 100 but obviously that's such a long shot. But it deserves to be her biggest hit.

Look. I know this era has been a hot ass mess, but to the mainstream world, Va Va Voom is Nicki's THIRD SINGLE. The album just came out in April. This is in no way "late in the game" or anything. Have you SEEN how well this song is doing? It's all about promo.

Super Bass was hella late Pink Friday era!
