The hate for Blackout is just something else. Yes, Britney wasn't at her best during Blackout. It's still a solid album and the music videos weren't bad either. The only thing bad about that era is all the negative press.

"Gimme More" was good? "Piece Of Me" was good? That animated piece of **** was good? All music videos were nearly self-parodies.
Which is why the "Britney" era had twice as much promo and she was cross-promoting the album with the movie in 2002.
Maybe in the US. "Slave" nearly outsold "Everytime" in the States though.
I disagree. Britney and ITZ are her most promoted eras. Okay maybe she promoted Britney a little bit more than ITZ. but Radio banned her the whole era. so?
