In that sense I agree. It hasn't fully caught on, but it's still popular right now I don't think that kind of sound would bring any distinct or unique qualities towards her music. She made a primarily electronic album last time, so I want something different.

I am not a "gorl", so please don't refer to me as one. "Supernatural" incorporates elements of the electronica from "Where Have You Been", meets Daft Punk from 2001. It ain't that fresh or innovative. That being said, I do agree that most mainstream artists haven't gone to those lengths.
