Le Trash was a horrible single.

Urban is a damn mess, whenever an artist does something different, they throw a tantrum. But they're still here for Nicki, BITT was a huge hit on urban radio, and they'll rush back to Nicki now that she's gone back to her roots.

And is PF:RR even ON the iTunes chart?

How DARE you compare that worldwide smash album to a US only EP that's set to flop worse than Lotus. Nicki's gonna shoot herself in the foot with this one and it hurts knowing I've been a fan since "Itty Bitty Piggy" and her Freaky girl remix back when I was in 9th grade. It's just that over time I got into the house/club scene and started leaning towards those artists. And when Nicki did "Turn Me On" I knew I was set forever. I've been a STAN since then and I'll be the first to tell you, she needs to stick with her new sound. If it ain't broke, don't fix it

That worldwide 'smash' album hasn't even sold 700k in the US, though. Going for the dancepop genre polarized a lot of her fans, and the result has been she's seen as a female Flo Rida and not a credible artist. Popnika isn't real. She's manufactured, put together by the best producers and gimmicks in the industry. Hip-hop is where Nicki's true talent and personality shows. Why can't you just let the dancepop sound be a one-album experiment?
It's not like Nicki's completely DONE with all pop. She'll still gonna push out songs along the lines of PF, with pop undertones so she can have mainstream success.

Everyone keeps bringing up sales, but she's much more than that at this point. She's become a MOGUL. ALL thanks to "those songs". 2 years ago, Nicki was just a wannabe LIl Kim hopping on everyones songs to get a lil buzz for her album. Now she's on Graham Norton, Alan Carr, and causing chaos when she goes to malls overseas. That's something hip-hop isn't doing for her!

And no I don't really like the snippets considering I'm not a huge hiphop fan anymore

For me it's quality > success.

I don't CARE if when Nicki goes into some mall in the UK people rush to see her. I don't CARE if she's a mogul. It's not like any of that has anything to do with me, or my life. I just want some good music I can bop to in the car while I drive to school.
