"Right Now" is more of an obvious pop smash, in this moment, than either OG or WFL when they came out. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, I don't think it's "generic" (such an overused term for anything that sounds like a hit
), but it's clearly what pop radio lives for from her.)
But as others have already pointed out, she has a lot of other material on the album that can do well. A lot of people said "Diamonds" wouldn't be as big as it was because of similar reasons, and look - it's coming for that #1 soon.
