I am, but I wanted a smoother mix. I wanted her to explore both urban AND electronic/dance sounds this time, but it seems like she stayed pretty urban this time around. In all reality, she has one truly pop song on this album, Right Now. I really enjoy both sides of her and wanted a nice balance between both; maybe that's why I don't enjoy this album as much as say Talk That Talk. We still got some pop sounds in there but she still goes into the urban sounds we all appreciate.

Yeah I think it's cos everyone wants a PURE pop album from her & since Right Now is the only dance song they are disappointed??
I mean I like both sides and its annoying when people say its horrible etc etc just cos its a different genre of music they don't like.
In saying so RIGHT NOW would be an appropriate second singlee

We don't want a pure pop album, but let's be real; some of her best songs are her pop songs (Don't Stop The Music, We Found Love, etc). I acknowledge her experimenting with new sounds, but I think she should keep at the very least a few pop songs on her belt.

I remember when I first heard the Rated R snippets. Everything sounded horrible to me. Just wait until the full album is out then judge.

That's why I'm basing everything on snippets and not judging the album itself, just first impressions. I'm hoping that hearing the full song will probably prove me wrong.
