2 weeks ago, Billboard said that M5 and Psy were separated by 600 points. That's when PSY was #1 on Streaming airplay was near 70+ million (give or take) and #1 on iTunes. (220+k)

Rihanna is now or should be #1 on Streaming, w/ #2 or even #1 on iTunes sales should be 170-220k. Then her airplay is closing the gap each and every week w/ M5.

This week...she should be at #2...if her sales get a small boost from SNL 2mrw.

If she gets that #1 advantage on iTunes...then she will be on course to get the #1 easily.

Wtf? How am I pressed? I've always said, if Ke$ha can't get it then I hope Rihanna does. I'm not saying its not going to hit #1, I'm just saying, last week it wasn't a content or what so ever, and now y'all are convinced its hitting #1 after next week. I just wanted to know how that happened.

and I'm messing w/ ya! Yes. Diamonds has been increasing on all formats for charting on billboard every week. This week has been even more promising due to the decline in Psy on all formats + M5 loosing steam on Streaming + Digital.

If Rihanna gets the #1 and can just build a 10 point gap, the #1 is hers for the following week..

Bruno was #2 on iTunes all week and only sold 149k. And Rihanna is #3. She's not pulling over 200k this week. The tracking day ends tomorrow.

It happened because Diamonds overtook One More Night on streaming and it is about to on digital tracking as well.

The only factor left is airplay, and the gap is decreasing substantially week by week. Next week Rihanna should have a strong enough sales week to bridge it.

Nothing is certain though because SNL might not have a huge effect.

So very true. The effect should be huge if Rihanna delivers vocally and causing the viewers to want to buy the single. It's imperative that she does. Her SNL performances have always been lackluster

However, Anne Hathaway is hosting so that would mean typically more viewers..So let's hope she gets a Bruno push!

160K this week when it has no chances for #1 yet. But if it gets #1 exposure on iTunes for rest of next week then sales should increase. An if she sells near 200K in total #1 will be hers week after.

Even 140K (but i think she will sell ~150K with SNL help) will be enough for #2 this week. And for next week anything above 175K should be enough for #1.

Are the AMA's tomorrow? It just seems obvious that Psy first proper performance of GS on US TV is going to have a huge effect. It's just went past the 2 million mark so there's lots of room for it to grow regarding sales. Even if Diamonds has a good SNL increase, Psy willy surely overshadow whatever increase Diamonds will have.

The EMA's are tomorrow. And i doubt a psy performance will have much effect I'm sure everyone already knows the song.
