I think it was a good idea in hindsight for her NOT to perform SD at VMAs. Sure the fans were sick of it, but SL was the video that was nominated in so many categories, and was the VIDEO which set the massive era off, not performing it would've been lackluster to the general public at the VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS.
