No, country audiences are just long term albums buyers, they can buy your albums after 52 weeks on chart, but they re not that loyal, if they were, Carrie would ve reached 3M with Play On & Blown Away after Some hearts & Carnival Ride, the same with Zac Brown Band, The Dixie Chicks, Sugarland or Lady Antebellum, name me a country artist (putting Taylor aside) who was able to reach almost a same success with every album now ?!
Ofc they re still loyal then Pop audience. About rock audience, they are on the same level of country audience : Kings Of Leon after Only By The Night, with Come Around Sundown, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay, Nickelback, The Killers, they all underperformed with their latest albums if we compared them to their previous materials. If they were that loyal they would reach the same success. To me, hip hop fans are the most loyal, you can see some random rappers topping BB 200 while the major acts still sell decently (Thank Me Later with Drake, Frank Ocean, Two Chainz etc). Anyway, since music is almost free actually, the fanbases tend to decrease, only die hard stans can support you to death.
